FAQs.
How far in advance should I book?
Texas whitetail and aoudad hunts can fill 6+ months out — book early. Fishing trips can often be set up inside a few weeks, but holiday and weekend dates fill faster. The best move is to call us as soon as you have a target date in mind.
What's the deposit and cancellation policy?
Deposit and cancellation specifics vary by trip. We'll send the policy with your quote so you have it in writing before you commit. Reach out for the most current details.
Do I need a license?
Yes — every guest needs a valid Texas hunting or fishing license. We'll point you to the right place to purchase before your trip.
Can I bring kids?
Yes — kids are a core part of our mission. We have plenty of experience running family and youth trips, and we'll match the trip's pace and difficulty to the group.
What's the typical group size?
Most trips run 1–4 guests with one guide. Larger groups, corporate events, or multi-boat / multi-guide trips can be arranged — let us know what you're planning.
Can non-anglers / non-hunters come along?
On most fishing trips, yes — non-anglers can ride along on the boat. On hunts, non-hunters typically stay at the lodge or with the group during the hunt itself. Tell us what you're picturing and we'll work it out.
Do you accept corporate events?
Absolutely. Corporate fishing days, team retreats, and customer-entertainment trips are some of our favorite bookings. Reach out and we'll help you build the day.
Are gratuities expected?
Tips are appreciated but never required. If you had a great time and want to tip your guide, the standard is around 15–20% of the trip cost.
